HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!!

He's 13. He's cute. He's smart. And, I'm so proud he's my son. Mine and my husband's, that is...I can't take all the credit. *wink*

(And, yes, I do feel really old now. I'm the parent of a teenager!)

Hi there. Maybe you're wondering if this is the blog of AE Rought, romance author. Yup. It is. I write passion and pain, sword and sorcery, magick and mayhem and my family tolerates it. Bonus! ^_^

Lately, though, I've fallen victim to the siren call of the genre I enjoy (read: inhale) when I'm not writing. I'm turning the pen (er...keyboard) to YA urban fantasy.

Yes. I will still write adult romance. My editor might pummel me otherwise.
Yes. I write, read and love YA.
